We had to use different assessment tools to test where the level of skill was in our classroom. My group gave a pretest, a post test, and also an affective test, and collected the data to support why self defense should be added to a districts physical education curriculum.AmySemplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15088745057234616158noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3035047140820822351.post-35951528173501649272010-05-09T21:02:00.000-07:002010-05-10T07:51:39.135-07:00Standard 3: Planning and Implementation<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8cDvDPDGrheho-DEHsFGRmsanryQ79w0j-SIoBUtJK5LvQluhBxmraBKKkrDfEVMr0y-7Z9TQ_V79YQTOOXOqAdipc_eoZioDvR2P4WiZFkfE4qTN_Qrvf72LshOaZdbKR1NIOc98C_A/s400/IMG00737-20100309-2347.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5469654130695263234" />

:Physical education teacher candidates plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with local, state, and national standards to address the diverse needs of all students:

Artifact: 255 Lab C Activity Progression and Scope and Sequence for Speed Skating unit

Date: Spring 2010

Reflection: During the course of 255, we were asked to teach an international activity and provide a lesson plan, an activity progression sheet, a block plan, and a scope and sequence. I observed, taught, and assisted students in Pre-K through fifth grade. The reflection shows my self awareness as a teacher. Being aware of yourself when teaching will lead to improvement because you are always aiming to make things better. I think that every physical education teacher should use reflections because it is a good way to get their thoughts about the lesson into words. It might also help them work out any instructional problems they are having.AmySemplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15088745057234616158noreply@blogger.com0
